This video demo provides a quick and comprehensive overview of Affinity software and highlights key features in the architectural programming, early design, and analysis capabilities. Affinity also integrates bi-directionally with Revit Architecture, ArchiCAD, and SketchUp and provides unprecedented early sustainable analysis through the Affinity VE joint solution. This demo walks through the updates and enhanced functionality in the Affinity Program Menu, including the updated Affinity window, room layouts, relationships diagram, expanded view settings, and customization of the space program view.

The program view in enables users to add a list of customized views, include any data property as a column heading, edit cell contents directly, and export tabular views to CSV file. This video will demonstrate each of these capabilities.
Affinity Relationships diagrams are available in the Program section. This tab translates adjacency requirements into relationships that are visible by red and blue arrows. Users can add or delete relationships in the new tab at the sub-group, group, and space program levels. In addition,Affinity enables users to organize the spaces to meet the relationship requirements without needing to enter Schematic Design. In the Schematic Design section, users can simply drag and drop the department into the layout view to place the spaces as they were arranged in the Relationships tab. This video will walk you through each of these steps.
The design tools and view settings have been updated and expanded in the new Affinity 6 release to include a new 2d vertical stacking diagram, focused room layout views, the ability to open the same view in multiple tabs for comparison & presentations, and new & enhanced view settings and properties. Affinity 6 features a new Library Menu that houses the Spaces & Objects Libraries and a new Layout View for conceptual design.
