Trelligence Affinity Overview and Demonstration
Affinity software includes a wide range of tools for architectural programming, schematic design, analysis, and BIM integration. The videos below provide an overview of Affinity software and demonstrations of the functionality in both Affinity 5 and the new Affinity 6 release. Affinity 6.0 video demos are available on YouTube and will be opened in that format when you click on them. Note: For the best video quality on YouTube, press play, then ensure that "720p" is selected at the bottom right of the video screen.
Note: All of the Affinity 5 functionality videos are still applicable to Affinity 6, but the new release contains significant expansion of programming & design tools and introduces many new capabilities, as well as an updated look and feel. Use the table of contents below to find the videos of interest to you.

This demo walks through the updates and enhanced functionality in the Affinity Program Menu, including the updated Affinity window, room layouts, relationships diagram, expanded view settings, and customization of the space program view.
Affinity 6.0 introduces a new Library Menu that houses the Spaces & Objects Libraries and a new Layout View for conceptual design. Learn how to use this view and add overlays to create everything from broad conceptual designs, to process diagrams, or to create groups of spaces like hospital wings, patient pods, or office units.Click the link or image above to open the video on YouTube.
The schematic design tools and view settings have been updated and expanded in the new Affinity 6.0 release to include a new 2d vertical stacking diagram, focused room layout views, the ability to open the same view in multiple tabs for comparison & presentations, and new & enhanced view settings and properties. Other design tools like the new overlays tools and room label style selection are reviewed in the Affinity 6.0 Conceptual Layout View video above.
Affinity 5 Overview & Functionality Demos
The video demos listed below include a full project demonstration and spotlight demos on specific functionality. Although all of the videos below were created using Affinity 5, the functionality is still available in the Affinity 6.0 release. Please click on a link below to open the related video.

The program view in Affinity 5.6 enables users to add a list of
customized views, include any data property as a column heading, edit
cell contents directly, and export tabular views to CSV file. This
video will demonstrate each of these capabilities.
Affinity 5.6 features a new Relationships tab in the Project Program
section. This tab translates adjacency requirements into relationships
that are visible by red and blue arrows. Users can add or delete
relationships in the new tab at the sub-group, group, and space program
levels. In addition,Affinity enables users to organize the spaces to
meet the relationship requirements without needing to enter Schematic
Design. In the Schematic Design section, users can simply drag and
drop the department into the layout view to place the spaces as they
were arranged in the Relationships tab. This video will walk you
through each of these steps.
